CYFOR’s Keith Cottenden will be featured as an expert authority on the CBS crime documentary ‘Written in Blood’, aired on Saturday 16^th September.

Written in Blood: Episode 2 – The Child Killers, is part of a new 10-part crime series and will air internationally on CBS Reality. Each episode examines a real crime through the eyes of famous crime fiction writers and examines how the offenders were caught and brought to justice.

Episode 2 ‘Written in Blood’ features CYFOR Forensics Director Keith Cottenden, who explains in-depth the capabilities of digital forensics. Specifically, mobile phone, computer forensics and audio visual enhancement, explaining how the evidence retrieved from these techniques can prove crucial within criminal investigations.

As referenced by the title, this episode will focus on child killers, specifically the murder of 2-year old James Bulger on February 12^th, 1993 by Robert Thompson and Jon Venables.
