Freedom of Information Requests
Have you been approached with multiple Freedom of Information Requests? We have the expertise to search, recover and process large volumes of data to find what you’re searching for.
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 provides public access to information held by public authorities, which can be requested in two ways;
The Act covers any recorded information that is held by a public authority within the UK, including Northern Ireland. Public authorities include government departments, local authorities, the NHS, state schools and police forces.
However, the Act does not give people access to their own personal data such as their health records or credit reference file. If an individual requires information that a public authority holds about them, they need a subject access request under the Data Protection Act 1998.
As leading digital forensics experts, we have at our disposal a range of advanced online review platforms. These are specifically designed to search through vast amounts of electronic information, with advanced keyword filters to find what you’re looking for quickly and effectively.
